Candle light has been used in ceremonies and celebrations throughout time. What about in our lives, what place does the light of a candle hold? In this two hour Authentic Poetry workshop we get to explore the meaning that we carry or cherish when we light a candle whether for simply peaceful meditation or a celebration. World known poets Yosa Buson, Sara Teasdale, St. Thomas Aquinas, Wallace Stevens inspire us to look into the deeper meaning of the ritual of candle lighting. $50 for this workshop includes guided meditation, movement, reading, writing, sharing of poetry and group discussion. We will gather on Google Meet.
